VR = T₂ / T₁  |  N₁/N₂ = T₂/T₁

  • T = Number of teeth, N = RPM (Speed)
  • Belt Drive: VR = D₂ / D₁ (D = pulley diameter)

Mechanical Advantage (MA) = Load / Effort

Efficiency (η) = (MA / VR) × 100%
