Design & Implement a
Simple Information System

The project is an individual practical work carried out throughout Grade 13. Select a real-world problem, apply SDLC and SSADM methodologies from Unit 07, design and implement a working information system with database and programs, then present a full project report and live demonstration. Teacher-led discussions span 30 periods; additional lab access outside timetabled sessions is arranged for independent work.

Conduct a Project on Designing an Information System
Apply SDLC stages β€” from problem identification through feasibility study, requirements analysis (BAM, DFD, LDS, EPD), system design, ER diagram, logical schema normalisation to 3NF, data dictionary and user interface design.
COMPETENCY 14.2 β€” One period per week for one year
Implement and Demonstrate the Information System
Build the database and programs, test all modules, maintain the activity logbook, write the complete project report and present a working live demonstration to the teacher and evaluators.

Build, Test & Debug
